Baranduda Land Care encourages Council, landholders, and residents to use Australian native species in landscaping of parks, streets and reserves, farms and residential gardens. Baranduda Land Care has a policy of planting predominantly indigenous species in its revegetation programs. This helps to conserve our native flora, provides valuable wildlife habitat (particularly for birds) and retains a rural ‘feel’ to our increasingly urban environment.

Note: These lists are not exhaustive, and there are many other Australian native plants that can successfully be grown in this area. When using indigenous species, please use plants of local provenance to maintain gene pool integrity.
