Primary school readers/e-books

Have just added a new link to the Enviro-stories site, where you can find fantastic e-readers produced by the Creative Catchment Kids program. This program is based across the river in the Murray CMA region, driven by Stacee Staunton-Latimer, Adrian Wells and Owen Dunlop of the famed Wirraminna Environment Centre, and the stories are local and relevant to us here in the North East.

  1. The Enviro-stories is described as “an attempt to engage primary school students in developing a sense of place with their local environment. Stories are written about local issues, by local kids, for local kids. It entails an interdisciplinary approach by combining elements of Science, Environmental Studies, Creative Arts and English”.
